Platform blueprint / In development

One placement record, from first search to paid hours.

Rec-OS is a separate, ground-up product under development. The capabilities below describe what it's being built to do, not functionality currently live in Rec-OS.

Planned capabilities

Designed around an unbroken placement workflow.

02 / Manage demand

Roles & candidate pipelines

Each role is planned to hold client, contact, location, dates, shift pattern, headcount and required credentials. Candidate progress, notes and status are intended to stay attached to that role, with a map view for candidate locations around a site.

03 / Work together

Client & candidate portals

The product blueprint includes a permissioned shortlist portal for clients to review candidates, plus a candidate self-service portal for records, documents, availability and applications. Candidate details and timesheets are planned to share one login.

04 / Start placements well

Onboarding

Rec-OS is planned to support role-based invitation links, a visible onboarding funnel and joining-form submissions that flow into a candidate's record. Automatic follow-up is part of the blueprint.

05 / Protect the record

Placements, rates & margin

Each placement is planned to track the candidate, client, role, site, dates, pay rate and bill rate, with margin calculated in pounds and percent. Effective-dated rate history is designed to preserve the rates used for earlier weeks, alongside placement status and engagement-length tracking.

06 / Pay & bill

Timesheets & reporting

The planned workflow connects digital timesheet entry, consultant authorisation and client sign-off. Approved hours are intended to drive pay and charge reports, margin views and payroll exports, with integration points for standard accounting and payroll systems.

07 / Stay current

Compliance & credentials

A core part of the blueprint is built-in credential tracking: define what a role requires, monitor expiries across active placements and surface current, expiring, expired or missing status so teams can act before a credential lapses.

08 / See the work

Dashboards & business development

Planned dashboards bring together consultant activity, open positions, candidates in play, compliance alerts and operations trends. Lead and prospect tracking is a possible closer integration with the core workflow, rather than a confirmed merged capability.

A clearer operating picture

The goal: less re-keying, with compliance and margin in the same flow.
